Itinerary

Day 1 – Brisbane to Coffs Harbour

Board the Great Southern in Brisbane and settle into your private cabin before enjoying lunch on board. Relax as the train journeys south to Coffs Harbour.

This evening, enjoy drinks and canapés on the beach at Charlesworth Bay before a memorable outdoor dinner showcasing fresh local seafood and regional produce paired with premium Australian wines.

Day 2 – Hunter Region

Enjoy breakfast before choosing one of the Great Southern's Off Train Experiences.

Options include:

• Touring the vineyards of the Hunter Valley
• Exploring Port Stephens by land or sea
• Discovering Newcastle's vibrant coastal charm

Return to the train in the afternoon for another exceptional evening of regionally inspired dining.

Day 3 – Melbourne or Regional Victoria

Today's Off Train Experiences allow you to choose between:

• A gourmet food and wine experience at Clyde Park in regional Victoria

Lunch is served at Eureka 89 with spectacular city views before rejoining the train for the final evening onboard.

Day 4 – Adelaide & Monarto Safari Resort

Arrive in Adelaide before transferring to Monarto Safari Resort.

Along the way you'll enjoy:

After checking into Monarto Safari Resort, experience an unforgettable Christmas Eve Sunset Wildlife Safari. Travel through 550 hectares of open-range parkland where giraffes, Southern White Rhinos, zebras, cheetahs, ostriches and more roam freely.

Finish the evening with festive drinks and canapés as the sun sets across the African-inspired landscape.

Day 5 – Christmas Day at Monarto Safari Resort
